We visited Dublin for the weekend, and the hotel was booked by a friend, and we didn’t realise how good the location was until we got there. It was about 5 minutes walk away from the good bars and restaurants.
The only problem I have, is that the noise is unreal if you actually wanted to sleep. I wear earplugs to sleep, but the music was booming through them. However, the hotel is literally situated on the same street as bars and clubs, so you can’t really complain.
The rooms are fine, we had 4 single beds in one room, which suited us well. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. I cannot stress how close this hotel is to the bars and restaurants.
My favourite bar is Fitzsimons, near the river. It has a few floors, and each floor is different. The main, ground floor has live music every night, which was excellent, and exactly what we were looking for in Dublin.
The wifi signal was poor, but we didn’t spend a lot of time in the hotel room really.
